I could never begin to comprehend the level of nerves, adrenaline and sheer excitement that must buzz round a band member's body before they make for the stage of one the world's biggest festivals. But being able to see them make that short, brief journey to the stage gives you a sense of reality to the volume and noise that you witness once they get there.
So NME's 'Walk On Stage' videos are a great insight into this backstage aspect. They're simple, quick and actually quite addictive. Here's a few bands I'm rather fond of making their way onto the stage.
